Doing Disney: I Need Your Questions

Part 1 disney: what do you want or need to know?

Hello everybody and Happy New Year! After taking a break over the holidays I’m back. I’m planning out some blog posts for this year. I’ve done quite a few posts on home stuff, so I’ve been thinking of hitting some other areas of interest. One of the things I love to do and write about is travel. I love to travel. My husband loves to travel. It was one of our mutual loves when we first met, and 15 years ago this month we married while traveling, We did a destination wedding in Turks and Caicos and brought family and friends with us for one big vacation with a wedding one afternoon.

We’ve traveled alone, as a couple, and with kids. Our kids are now pro travelers, navigating through security, airports and venues with confidence. Me on the other hand? I first traveled on an airplane at the ripe old age of 22. My kids? Six months. I understand it’s a budget and priority decision on vacations, and that’s one of the reasons I was older when sitting on an airplane for my first time (with my new boss sitting next to me and thinking it was so funny). I grew up in a family of four kids and we did road trips. Much more cost conscious for a family of six. We have done that with our kids and they also love it, so choices and budget. I understand,

One of our happy places is DisneyWorld. We’ve done Disneyland a few times, but we’ve done DisneyWorld a lot. We’ve done it as singles, a couple, with babies, toddlers, small kids and now bigger kids. I’ve quickly written down advice for others when they’ve asked for it, but never have put it out here.

There are a lot of resources (books, apps, websites) to look up what to do, where to stay, what to eat, what to wear (and for moms, I feel like what to wear there could take up a whole post in itself). I could direct you to all of those resources . But if you’re planning a trip there - either next month, next year or who knows one day? - and have questions, I’d like to help you. So I’m going to ask you to put your question in the comments here or on my Instagram post. And I will give you my opinion or a fact, depending on your question. Also let me know when you plan to go (because if it’s this weekend, I’m going to DM you so you have the info!).

So ask me your question and I will wrap up all your questions up in Part 2.

Thanks for stopping by!

XO,
