Gift Guides to Make your holiday shopping stress-free
This week we reflect on everything we are thankful for in our lives, and hopefully spending it with those you love (and/or like at least!). If you are not able to do this, I hope that you are able to enjoy a nice, quiet meal and do something that you enjoy. But we all know, after that big meal is consumed and some retire to watch football for the rest of the weekend, many of us face the inevitable push of holiday shopping and deals.
It used to be that my sisters, mom and I would head out to the stores on Friday afternoon and enjoy the shopping experience. That, my friend, was long before I discovered my love of internet shopping and also long before kids and the growing gift list of nieces and nephews. It was also before Black Friday deals started the week before with early access, as well as Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday. It all gives me stress just thinking about what deals I will score, what I should buy and how to make it all happen.
I created some gift guides that I hope can help. If your husband needs help, send him to this site (because I doubt he will read this on his own!). All the items can be ordered online and sent to you (hi Mr UPS guy, yes you are here every day!) so all you have to do is wrap it up!
These gift guides contain items from some of the bigger retailers, like Nordstrom, Target, Amazon and Pottery Barn. But I’ve also included items from some smaller shops, like Antique Candleworks, and HeartString Gifts (which gives back to Children’s Cancer Research). Also please refer to my blog post from a few weeks ago that support small businesses. All of those mentioned are great places to find unique gifts and support a small business owner. There are items they sell that are perfect for Her, For Him and for you! And these businesses will thank you for supporting them.
My gift guides can be found on my menu above, or click below to go to them:
Have a beautiful Thanksgiving weekend and when the meal is done, the dishes are washed and the guests (or you) are safely home - take a look at these guides and know I was thinking of you and your recipient in choosing a perfect, unique and useable gift! Happy Shopping!
